THE COMPANY: Asia Vehicle Rental Co., Ltd. is a fully licensed, independent, foreign investment company. We operate in all areas of Lao PDR, providing vehicles for business travel, aid projects, development works, construction site works and tourist travel both throughout Lao and cross-border into Thailand, Vietnam and China. We specialize in up country and 4x4 travel.

LIMOUSINE SERVICE: Within and outside Vientiane plus cross border (Thailand).  Airport delivery and pickup at Wattay airport(Vientiane), Udon Thani(Thailand) and Friendship bridge.

DRIVERS:   English, French, Lao & Thai speaking drivers are provided on request.
Our drivers are fully familiar with all parts of Lao PDR. They are provided at no additional cost other than for overtime worked outside normal hours and for food and accommodation at cost, when travelling and staying out of Vientiane. Current daily field allowance of $15 in Laos or $20 outside country.

INSURANCE: All vehicles are provided with Third Party Insurance, optional higher level 3, for driver and passengers plus Comprehensive insurance for the full value of the vehicle, through AGL Insurance Co., Vientiane.

There is a non refundable excess of up to a maximum of US$ 500 per claim which AVR accepts responsibility for when the vehicle is operated by an AVR driver. When driven by the customer, the customer is responsible for this.

Insurance on vehicles is essential for visitors to Lao because most vehicles in Lao are not insured or at best have the minimum Third Party cover only.

PROVINCIAL TRAVEL: AVR specializes in 4x4 travel in all parts of the Lao PDR, as well to Thailand, Vietnam and China. Our insurance cover extends to those countries and we offer full assistance and advice for developing travel plans and itineraries for business and holiday travel. Vehicles can be self driven or given with an experienced driver, according to preference. Contact us prior to arrival or on arrival in Lao for services.

Rental rates for both 4x2 Sedans and pickups and for 4x4 vehicles vary according to usage, term of lease and areas of travel. Because of the large variety of travel conditions, it is not possible to have one rate throughout the country for all travel
